The parking lot on the east side of the road is often full and overflowing, as is the annex parking on the west side. Location. It is well signed. The east lot is smaller and has direct access to the trail to Boiling River. A short 1.25-mile trail will take you to the Boiling River, a place where a large hot spring enters the Gardner River.
