Spectacled caiman habitat

The Spectacled Caiman is one of the smallest crocodilians, but is the largest of the caiman family. These caimans prefer lowland wetland and riverine habitat types throughout its range but generally prefer areas of still or slow moving water, such as ponds, lakes, marshes and slow rivers. With its warm, tropical climate, Ecuador is a perfect home for reptiles who love to relax and soak in the sun.
